MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE ENGINEER
Brunei Darussalam
 

Responsibilities:
Our Client a Successful Oil & Gas Engineering Consultant Company in Brunei seeks potential employees for immediate employment.


Ensure all discipline maintenance activities are carried out in a safe manner, within budget, on time and in accordance with applicable Company procedures, International standards and technical / manufacturer's specifications.
  • Provide solutions to address maintenance shortcomings and ensure the effective coordination and functioning of maintenance discipline teams
  • Maintain maintenance records and deliver timely and accurate updates to the Company maintenance information system(s)
  • Develop and set up of Company’s spare parts inventory levels according to the defined maintenance strategies
  • Preparationof technical tender documents, evaluating bids and recommending award for maintenance contracts
  • Providingworkable solutions to reducing the Company maintenance costs without compromising production targets or asset integrity
  • Manage plant shutdowns, scheduled turnaround by specifying requirements of work preparation, scheduling and execution and monitoring of progress, quality of work and HSE.
  • Manageexecution of static/rotating equipment maintenance programs and inspection programs
  • Inputsfor requirement of lifting equipment, scaffolding, and insulation, painting and similar to carry out mechanical maintenance work.
  • Establishand maintain effective and efficient work interfaces with the Company Site    Representative and all direct reporting staff
  • Contribute to the support and development of a fully competent and highly motivated  local Contractors
  • Provideinputs to the formulation of the maintenance strategies and future maintenance planning as required
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 10 years with Mechanical maintenance experience in a petrochemical company, refinery company orin an oil & gas E & P company
  • Minimum of 5 years must have been in a management / supervisory capacity.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience managing maintenance outages or shutdown/turnaround
  • Projects
  • Ability and experience with preparing mechanical maintenance work packages, estimating resources required, scheduling and supervising the field execution are perquisite requirement for this role.
  • Experience developing strategies with computerized maintenance management system for coding and cataloguing of consumable spare parts, Maintenance Job Routine (MJR), Bill of Materials (BOM), etc.
  • Experience working with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems, viz. ERP and CMMS/EAM systems such as SAP, JDE, Maximo, PassPort and working knowledge of Risk, Cost and Contract Management tools and techniques will be advantageous. 
  • Familiarwith design and engineering standards(i.e. JIS, ISO, DIN, NFPA, etc.)
