Responsibilities:
Enforces and adopt safety measures among all of his subordinates and contractors.
Reviews Service Orders and dispatches work among his subordinates
Follow up with the contractors on critical Service Orders for any requirement of materials, review quotes, process purchase orders and close the Service Orders on Total Asset Management System (TAM) upon job completion.
Manage subcontractor in their works and ensure their works are performed at the desired level of quality, standards and complete in target time.
Analyze data from TAM and liaise with contractor for continuous improvement.
Responsible for the preparation of Work Instructions, Method Statement and Work Methodology for different activities of work.
Assist to generate weekly and monthly reports on pending Service Orders, Quotations and Purchase Orders and liaise with contractor for the shortfalls and proper reporting to Management.
Assist in providing information and updates on on-going maintenance works to customer on routine basis.
For any project or improvement work, prepare scope of work, liaise with contractor for cost, submit recommendation to client and manage the project at site for closure.
Assist in preparation of standard operating procedures (SOP’s) for the maintenance of site equipment
Check periodically for potential areas for energy savings opportunities.
Assist Department in conducting regular systems audit
Perform emergency support duty, if required
Responsible for implementation on various types of improvement works.
Able to work independently and under pressure.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Civil), Architecture or equivalent.
- At least 8 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Applicants must be willing to work in Doha.
- Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent.
- 2 Contract position(s) available.
- Good knowledge on maintenance of structures, architecture, road and drainage works. And also knowledge on quantity surveying will be an advantage.
- Good report writing skills for submission of Technical evaluation, Cost Benefit Analysis and recommendation proposals for improvement works.
- Team player and able to lead a team of Engineers and contractors.
- Good knowledge of quality standards like ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001
