Pastry Chef

The Scope of Work :

• To have smooth running of Pastry Kitchen and standard set are followed to minimize complain from guest
• To give the best quality Pastry Kitchen and value for money to the customer
• To endure items are the same as on the menu and function are not delay
• To minimize waste of food items
• Supervises kitchen personal together with other section Chef's to increase productivity
• Holds meeting with his/her section staff to help overcome problem in the section
• Help planning food promotion for next year by middle of the year each year
• To check every section of cleanliness and well kept before closing the kitchen
• Is responsible to observe the job of CDP, ACDP, COMMIS and KITCHEN HELPER
• Is responsible to observe the discipline of kitchen personal
• Holds and check on weekly training give by each department to keep quality up
• To check each department follow rules set by the hotel to help staff moral
• To make sure staff annual leave are clear by the4 month each year and Public Holiday are clear not later then 60days after, so staff are not left with to many day for them before they resigned from the hotel

The Candidate:

• Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Food & Beverage Services Management, Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management or equivalent.
• At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preferably Managers specializing in Hotel Management/Tourism Services or equivalent.
• Full-Time position(s) available.
