Senior GeophysicistThamrin - Jakarta Pusat

Responsibilities :

• Identify needs and propose acquisition, (re-) processing of 2D and 3D seismic data
• Follow processing with a team of Geophysics and contribute to optimizing processing sequence
• Perform 2D and 3D seismic interpretation and mapping including interpretation stratigrahic attributes and trace, integrating all G & G data are available, suggesting the special post-processing to improve imaging, perform deep btime conversion, AVO technology to improve reservoir / fluid prediction (ie applying quantitative interpretation techniques such as reservoir characterization, AVO analysis and CWT to describe an accumulation of hydrocarbons)
• To identify the types of games possible candidates ignored or untested. Regional play fairway analysis Develop and identify suitable and mature outlook to be ready to drill status
• Calculate the volumetric and work with geologists (for calculating reserve judgment geological prospects and analyze the risks associated with it), reservoir engineers and economists to propose production profiles, scenario development, and work out the economics of the project
• Setting up a block or field evaluation report
• Participate in geophysical studies or review, appraisal and assessment of new exploration or acquisition opportunities where appropriate
• Timely survey site plan as required
• Follow the advice on the operation of drilling and evaluation requirements such as logging and testing

Requirements :

1. S1 degree or higher in Geology, Geophysics, Physics or Mathematics
2. A minimum of 15 years work experience with a strong operating company
3. Relevant experience in the exploration and interpretation of seismic construction, acreage and prospect evaluation, risk and uncertainty analysis and volumetric estimates
4. Hands on experience with the detailed seismic interpretation in exploration, science applications such as seismic interpretation Landmark, Petrel or SMT-Kingdom of applications, 3D visualization and interpretation, mapping packages such as Petrosys and ZMap, volumetric calculation software
5. Broad-based knowledge of geology and geophysics with an emphasis on skills and stratigrahic structural interpretation. Skill in calibrating seismic characterization data, seismic reservoir and hydrocarbon detection of seismic
6. Written and verbal communication, presentation and reporting skills are also essential to ensure the effective deployment and utilization of Exploration & Development Department of Posts
7. Ability to coach and mentor team members junior
