Jobs Vacancy - Chevron is a major partner in Indonesia's economy and an active member of the community. Through our wholly owned subsidiary PT Chevron Pacific Indonesia, we are the largest producer of Indonesia's crude oil. We are searching for new oil and gas reserves from central Sumatra to offshore East Kalimantan. We have begun design work on our deepwater natural gas project off East Kalimantan through Chevron Indonesia Company Our geothermal operations in Indonesia help make Chevron the largest producer of geothermal energy in the world. Chevron sells lubricants in Indonesia through our subsidiary PT Chevron Oil Products Indonesia. In 1944, a well near the village of Minas – which company explorers had placed a rig over at the outbreak of World War II – was drilled by Japanese troops. Minas became the largest oil field ever discovered in Southeast Asia. Interrupted by the war and Indonesia’s subsequent struggle for independence, production began in 1952. In 1963, the company was incorporated in Indonesia as P.T. Caltex Pacific Indonesia (CPI).

The company’s first significant step in Asian exploration and production came in Indonesia in 1924, when Standard Oil Co. of California (Socal) dispatched a geological expedition to the island of Sumatra. In 1936, the as-yet unproductive holdings became part of Caltex, the worldwide combination of the Texas Co. and Socal. Five years later, the company drilled into the formation that would become the Duri Field, today site of the world’s largest enhanced recovery steam flood.

Summary of Job / Qualification :

• Minimum degree : S1 (S2/Master degree will be an advantage).
• Have a knowledge and or experience in Air craft engine maintenance, Aviation and Marine Safety Management System (SMS) and the concept of Aviation and Marine Safety, Reliability and Efficiency (MSRE and ASRE).
• Certification in ICAO, FAA, and EASA. Rotary Wing exposure is preferred.
• Have a good leadership and communication, both in English and Bahasa.

Summary of Job / Qualification :

• Have experience in law firm or multinational companies preferably in Oil and Gas/Geothermal Industry.
• Education Background: S2 Law degree from reputable University. Master of Laws (LL.M) is preferable.
• Analyze and interpret national and international legislations potentially impacting to Company operations.
• Prepare, draft negotiate agreements with individuals, companies, non-government organizations, and governments.
• Involve and able to work in cross-functional teams and manage components of transactions by himself/herself. The individual must be able to initiate his/her task independently, build a strong relationship with stakeholders, have strong organizational ability and attention to detail, and the ability to deal with sensitive information in a professional manner.
• Provide advice and assistance through pre-litigation phases, direct litigation and settlement processes as well as manage external legal counsel services.
• Have significant experience in handling legal transactions - attorney work.
• Able to provide legal advice and counsel to directors, officers and others on any legal matters.
• Able to do legal research, communicate complex issues in both Bahasa Indonesia and English effectively. orally and in writing.
• Demonstrate skill in providing timely and client-focused advice and counsel.
• Demonstrate strong analytical skill and experience in working in teams and managing interpersonal Relationships.
• Willing to relocate to one of Chevron operations locations in Indonesia.
